Without leads, your business can struggle to grow. It’s important to be able to capture as many leads as possible because the reality is that not everyone is going to be a customer. That’s okay because you’ll have so many leads that one no won’t matter.

Apps like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and WhatsApp are all great places to help you generate more leads for your business. They can connect you with other like-minded individuals who can be potential customers or business partners.

These apps are also a great place to advertise your product or services. Social media reaches a much larger pool of people so being able to market on these apps or websites can help you gain a much larger audience.

This seems like business 101 but it’s true. By advertising on social media, television, and on your local radio station. You’ll find that you’re also generating leads for your growing business. Advertisements make your product interesting and they can pique the interest of many different groups of people. The more you advertise and the more diverse methods you use to do so, the more diverse leads you’ll acquire.

Give discounts to new customers

Giving discounts to new customers will help you earn a few new loyal customers. Promotions like these are a great way to bring in more customers, increase your diversity, and make your customers trust you.

While it might seem counter-intuitive to cut back pricing to make more in the future, it’s true. If you can get loyal customers by doing a discount for new customers, then you’ll be increasing your sales in the future if you aren’t increasing them now. 

Ask current customers for referrals

Asking your already loyal customer with whom you have a trusted relationship with to tell their friends and family about your business is another great way to generate leads. People don’t realize this, but we trust what our families have to say so much that most of the time when we ask them for referrals we don’t feel the need to check them out first.            

For example, when I was looking for a new dentist, my friend recommended I go to one that she goes to. I said yes and within a few months,I was getting an exam done. I never checked out the dentist beforehand or questioned whether or not I would like them because, in my mind, the person who recommended them to me was a person I could trust.

Go to events

Events such as conferences are a  great place to get leads. While you might not find too many new clients, you’ll be able to network and grow your list of professionals with whom you would want to work with again. And, depending on your business, you might actually be able to find several customers while you attend the meeting. At the very least, you’ll leave learning a lot more about yourself, your company, and hopefully your business.
